TELERADIOLOGY:
Our service is based on Teleradiology, which is the electronic transmission of high resolution images such as CTs, MRIs, ultrasounds, nuclear medicine studies, and radiographs over high-speed Internet connections from your facility into our offices.

  • Typically, your technologists and/or other staff send the studies to be reviewed into our servers through our secure, compliant VPN via high speed Internet access such as cable modem, DSL, T1 or T3 lines.

  • Pertinent clinical information from the requisition is transmitted into our systems either through digitized requisitions, typed in by the technologist or office staff into our secure VPN, or faxed.

  • Through ultra-fast imaging streaming, the study appears into our system and it becomes available to our radiologists for immediate interpretation and dictation utilizing voice recognition technology.

  • The signed report is automatically tagged to the patient’s images and incorporated into the web-based module of our server. The referring physicians can then view both the signed report and the images via separate usernames and passwords. Privacy and security are ensured utilizing 128-bit SSL encryption technology. The report can also be faxed to your office and/or Emergency Department, or incorporated directly into your facility’s Radiology Information System through HL-7 integration, depending on your needs.

  • Turn around time is typically 30 minutes or less for preliminary stat reports.

HIPAA AND ACR COMPLIANT:
We use HIPAA-compliant, secure transmission of images through a VPN in high-speed broadband lines utilizing the latest security encryption technology.

Patient confidentiality is assured. We utilize the latest and most advanced encryption ID and password encryption technology.

Our Teleradiology equipment and Radiology Reading Stations comply with all ACR Teleradiology requirements to ensure the utmost image quality and confidentiality.
